Lead Research Scientist
CurrentAs of current, my position has expanded to acting as the Research Lead across different CNS indications (mainly neurodegeneration), supporting both preclinical and clinical development of novel therapies. In this capacity, I am developing our Parkinson’s Disease program and act as Principal Investigator on our associated project (MJFF-024128). This role also involves disseminating our science and research, incl. contributing to publications, e.g. a recent Drug Discovery article on New Frontiers in Parkinson’s Disease. Furthermore, I manage stakeholder relationships, incl. with management, CROs, KOLs, and collaborators. I lead a team of scientists, and together we review literature, plan PK/PD and disease model experiments (both in vivo and in vitro, e.g. iPSC work), and provide data management, analysis, and interpretation. The team also writes grant applications to ensure research funding.
