If we are lucky we live and we experience loss. Grief and Loss are consequences of life and love. It takes courage love and support. To be vulnerable in the face of loss is learning to be brave. I can be there with you while you dare to be brave. My story is that my beautiful son Wellington took his life in December 2021. He was a traveler and a believer in connections with the universe. He felt our world was too harsh and hard for his sensitive soul. My world fell apart. I needed to find away of understanding my loss and my grief. Through coaching and training I have developed (and the work never stops) a way of working with grief to find courage and strength to be vulnerable. These connections are powerful and life changing and I want to share them with you and support you. Loss can be a job, a pet, a home, a relationship - as well as loss through death. My Background Is in Housing Care and Support services for vulnerable people. Working at an executive level I lead and develop teams in the Voluntary Sector, Local Authorities and Housing Associations. My specialist skills are overcoming challenge, planning for change, dealing with crisis and in particular overcoming grief. I work with teams to develop trust, self awareness and personal growth. I inspire great working relationships and perfect performance.I campaigned for women’s rights and established refuge provision in areas where there were no services. Working for Housing Associations and Local Authorities gave me the opportunity of developing homes and services for a range of vulnerable people including older people, young people, people with mental ill heath and homeless people. This critical work has made a significant difference to people’s lives and the communities they live in. My CredentialsI am an Accredited Certified Coach (ACC) with International Coaching Federation. I am also a Director of UK ICF. I have 26 years experience at senior and executive level working in housing care and support. I have a BA and an MSc in Housing. I am a practiced facilitator and leader and have a diploma in community and youth work.
