About Louise Donlon

I love the theatre, but don’t do drama. Live performance is everything and there’s no place I love to be more than standing at the back of a full theatre watching magic being made. I’ve been running theatre and arts venues for a while so creativity, team building, diplomacy, tenacity, and the ability to greet triumph and (not quite) disaster with equanimity has been key. I lead a great team programming and managing two performing arts venues in Limerick where good governance, sound judgement and top quality customer service are hugely important. I have worked in theatre since the Tony award winning days of Druid Theatre Company (thrilled to be part of that history) in the 1990s. My primary aim is to ensure that audiences attending shows in our venue have their best possible time and come away from our shows laughing, crying, moved and amazed by what they have seen.
