Planning engineer responsible for the N3500 Orebody at Mount Isa Mines Copper Operations.Responsibilities associated with role included:• Delivery of high grade copper ore in a challenging geotechnical environment whilst meeting schedule constraints in order to achieve overall sales and operating plan for the business and striving for a zero harm work environment• Collaborative design involving the geological, geotechnical, ventilation and operations departments• Finalisation of stope designs based on preliminary works provided by the long term department, including documentation and presentation of proposed works.• Provision of lateral development designs, production drill designs, charge and fire designs, filling risk assessments and plans• Extensive communication with both operational management team as well as underground workforce, ensuring that proposed works are both achievable and conducted in a harm free manner• Management of operational works within the orebody, including prioritisation of works to ensure interactions between departments are minimised• Orica Ikon firing system operation, blast shot logging and firing

Provision of both long and short term operational schedules for various departments within the operation including development, production and hoisting.Sales and operation planning in collaboration with the concentrator to ensure that overall business targets for the year are achieved in line with budget requirementsBoth long and short time frames. All major aspects of mining cycle - primary development, drilling, production and filling.Identification and resolution of interactions within and between operational departments to ensure that schedules are realistic and achievable.Maintenance and troubleshooting of EPS schedule and various spreadsheets to ensure that up to date information is available to all stakeholders at all times.
