Throughout the duration of running my company I worked with corporate clients to create wellness programs, influenced via research findings within companies, for their staff members and curated interventions to best suit their needs. Research fellow on current NIHR funded study, managing a team of graduate research assistants, as well as data collection and analysis and liaising with multiple research sites in the UK and working with clinicians to produce high quality research.

Lead researcher on a 3.5 year project researching how to make yoga accessible for adults with intellectual disabilities and to examine the effect of yoga on levels of anxiety and depression. Utilizing a mixed methods study design, both qualitative and quantitative data were collected and analyzed. During this role I worked in the plastic surgery department for trauma patients in one of London’s biggest hospitals. An element of this role was working for a research project examining the effects of a post surgical healing technique for breast cancer patients. Additionally, I ran an outpatient clinic for 6 months during this time having direct communication with the plastic surgery consultants and partook in discussions regarding the research aims and objectives as well as undertaking data collection from post-surgical patients.
