Leading a large-scale, pragmatic, citizen science project, which aims to generate new knowledge that can improve citizens’ overall health and thus prevent serious (e.g. cardiovascular) complications. The project is a collaboration between TV2Fyn, TV Syd and a broad ranch of research experts at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense University Hospital, Technical University of Denmark, and Aarhus University.

The thesis was entitled: ‘Impact of gastrointestinal surgery on absorption of oxycodone’. Using PKPD and PBPK modeling techniques, the use of different oral delivery systems of oxycodone for patients with Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and short bowel syndrome was evaluated.Three clinical trials was conducted in advance of data analysis.
