On the 2nd May 2016 I set off to cycle from my home in the UK to my childhood home in Hong Kong. On the 21st December 2016 I reached my destination after crossing deserts, mountain passes, through temperatures from -10 to 40 degrees and being shown some incredible hospitality and kindness along the way. We dealt with last minute route changes, breakdowns, remote deserts, headwinds for 2 weeks, 3989meter mountain passes, wildcamping, isolation, joy at reaching cities after weeks in the desert or steppe and maintaining motivation.
