As Head of Campaigns and Events, I am responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Department including proactively identifying and developing partnerships and themed campaigns which help drive the economy and support local businesses to grow locally and internationally.I identify, develop and manage a variety of strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including many large corporate organisations.I lead on the development and delivery of a full schedule of corporate events and campaign activities which support the recruitment and engagement of members across the region; with a particular focus on key issues affecting business such as Skills, Leadership, Sustainability etc.

As Assistant Head of Business Services, I am responsible for the management of the day to day provision of membership services at NI Chamber. I ensure that demand for support across the entire team is effectively met with supply of resource, in accordance with service requirements and organisational objectives and goals. A key part of my role is to ensure effective delivery of NI Chamber’s calendar of events, circa 60+ per annum. I plan, manage and oversee the yearly programme of events in support of targets and in line with budget. My role involves validating and monitoring activity and performance against agreed plans in order to increase productivity and performance across the organisation. It is also my responsibility to ensure the effective implementation of NI Chamber’s Policies & Procedures within the Operational environment.

As Events Manager for NI Chamber of Commerce, I manage 60+ events per year with over 5000 delegates. I am responsible for every aspect of the event management, from initial concept and branding through to production, marketing, promotion and the procurement of sponsorship.Highlights include Chamber230, the first business event in Titanic Belfast with 725 guests, hailed as the most high profile business event of the year, and Growing Something Brilliant, the largest ever economic conference held in Northern Ireland.I am passionate about providing excellent customer service and pro-actively engaging members.

I worked as part of a small specialised team in close contact with Relationship Managers to ensure the bank received the required securities for mortgages/high value loans.
