Louis Kek has over 20 years experience in the finance, warehouse management, communications industry, wireless infrastructure, record management and technology operations. Mr. Kek was the founder and CEO of Mad City Broadband, Inc., a commercialized wireless infrastructure in WiFi and Wimax. Louis was Cellnet's Chief Information Officer and he was part of the management team that partnered with GTCR in the management buy-out and diversification of Cellnet’s business. In this role, he was responsible for leading the company's technology operations including business plan development, technology assessment, telecommunications, billing systems network, databases, security and information technology.Mr. Kek is part of the management team that is responsible in the successful sale of Cellnet to Bayard for $705M. Work very closely with the advisory teams from Morgan Stanley & Goldman Sachs. Mr. Kek served as CIO for Cellnet business having global responsibility for wireless network infrastructure and managed services deployment that provide mission critical data delivery for the 13M meters to utility customers. Prior to his tenure at Cellnet, Louis spent 12 years within several divisions of Schlumberger including Test & Transactions (T&T), Network Infrastructure Solutions (NIS) and Real-Time Energy Management Solutions (RTEMS). At Schlumberger, Louis received Chairman’s award for innovative programs in the smart card deployment for Corporate 100 customers and Platinum award for outstanding growth leadership. Prior to joining Mitsui-Soko, Mr. Kek started a business in farming in Cambodia. He exited the farming business due to COVID-19 situation.
