As an HR Generalist, led the formulation and execution of the Human Resources strategy for the U.S. Consumer Card Group, the largest Business Unit within the American Express Travel Related Services Company. Provided HR support and services to various large Operating Centers throughout the U.S., including the establishment of new Operations Centers in North Carolina and Florida. Led the HR support in the formulation and execution of a major organizational restructure, transforming the U.S. Card business from a functionally driven organization to a product-line driven organization. Headed the HR Leadership Council for AMEX North America. Reported directly to the President of the U.S. Consumer Card Group. Prior to being promoted to the U.S. Consumer Card Group, Louis held positions of increasing responsibilties in the Latin America and Caribbean Division starting as Director of Talent Acquisition/Training, HR Director, and VP HR for the entire Division.
