Visual & Musical DirectorRepublic Youth Theatre Apr 2002 - Aug 2002I took the role of Visual and Musical Director in a modern day interpretation of West Side Story, performed by a cast entirely made up of High School pupils. The show was performed on three consecutive nights at The Courtyard Arts Centre in Hereford. The project received financial help and advice from West Midlands Arts. Producing a complete original soundtrack and background visuals for the above show. This involved training members of the production team in: use of video cameras, sound and lighting engineering and live video mixing. Organising workshops by professional vocalists and dancers for the members of the cast. Final products from this project other than the performances included a 45-minute music video and full CD sound track.
