Louis ventured into diplomacy at age 24 and was thereafter appointed Honorary Consul for the Republic of Madagascar to Singapore. He has of course aged with time but in the most graceful manner possible (so he hopes).Early into his career, the unconventional and witty diplomat was adamant about doing things his way but soon learnt that: - growing of a goatee and long hair is only cool when you do not have to deal with Presidents and Ministers; - good ideas mean nothing when others see you as uncompromising and a threat; and - bad ideas can only get worse with bad communicationConsequently, Louis started a communications practice (Maven Potter) with his arch-nemesis Piya Chee. Together, they make the formidable duo that seeks to make good sense out of communication.Louis also lectures on PR, Advertising and communication modules for Murdoch and Northumbria University.
