Delivery coordination –Ensure that any BAU or Project work requested by the business is assigned to the right resource in my team. Follow up to make sure it is done in a timely manner to meet the SLAs, and to communicate with the customers to make sure they are happy. Also organizing vendors to come onsite for maintenance tasks.Managing project release and service transition – In the Cloud and Infrastructure space and Security, I am the last gate before a project goes live. Weekly meetings with the project manager and the technical lead to making sure they meet the criteria. Ensuring they provide me with information to prepare the project to go live and transition from hyper care to BAU once approved by the Platform owners. I also work closely with our service desk team to make sure they are aware of their responsibilities.Managing product/service licenses – Responsible for purchasing/renewing any service or products (hardware/software) plus support required by the team. Also terminating any licenses that are no longer required to save cost. Strong negotiation skills ensuring the best deals are made. I work closely with the SMEs, PMs, Managers, Finance, Legal, Vendors, and Commercial team.Managing resources – Responsible for ensuring that the team’s utilization and availability is up to date. Working with the team to approve or reject resource requests that come from Project Managers and other Stakeholders. Also providing capacity reports to the manager to make decisions.Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer – As an engineer, I was the first person to receive any tickets (incidents or service requests) that come from the business to the team. I triage, troubleshoot, and resolve these tickets quickly or assign them to the right person within the team. I also work on projects that require any work related to AWS. Whether it is to commission any new infrastructure or to decommission any devices that are no longer needed to save cost. Asset Procurement Co-ordination -

Primary responsibility for supporting the ICT Delivery teams, with a secondary focus on driving delivery for smaller pieces of work. The role will also ensure that ongoing process improvements are tracked and monitored and will be responsible for coordinating all activities that feed into this. For example, Resource Management and Contractors Recruitment. The role will also support the ongoing Delivery function in our Generation business, ensuring appropriate work coming through the front door process is managed through Mercury SDLC. Other roles I also undertook were Scrum Master, Resource Manager, License Manager, Vendor Manager, and Asset Manager.

I did a rotation in the organization's ICT department and two areas outside of ICT. The purpose was for me to have a feel for what each department does and to help me decide which department I felt could utilize my skill set the most. The ICT Departments I went into included Software Development, Testing, Cloud and Infrastructure, Architecture, Operations, and Business Analysis. The area outside of ICT I worked in was the Contact Centre and Project Management. Most of my time was spent in the project management team shadowing a Senior PM managing projects. I had the opportunity to manage one on my own.

Part of a team that developed a mobile application on Android. The objective was to improve and add functionalities to the existing system. Following are the functionalities that we implemented:- Implemented Dijkstra to find the optimized route for pick-up and delivery of an item by utilizing google maps API.- Display the lists of available delivery jobs in a first come first serve order. - Developed a visual representation of the optimized delivery route.- Calculated the delivery cost automatically based on the required distance to travel.- Enabled the web existing ordering system to communicate with the mobile application.- Tracked the location of the delivery personnel- Strong stakeholder relationship was developed through visiting the client site for meetings with the purpose of gathering complete business requirements. I was also responsible for managing the project and Scrum was used as the methodology to complete this project.
