Starting out in the sweaty depths of local legendary clubs, documenting the club scenery I was rapidly learning about and enjoying, I quickly was the leading freelance photographer and videographer in the Manchester area for large scale music events.Pushing the quality of the content I was creating was extremely important, and so I worked very closely with my clients to ensure that we veered away from the classic 'club-photographer' mannequin as far as possible. This resulted in some incredible moments shot, edited and shared and enjoyed by fans, and some significantly improved results for my clients as a result.

I worked at this store for 4 years. As a 16 year old with a passion for photography, I called in to the store, applied for the job on spec, and I was offered a job as a result. My duties were wide-ranging but principally customer-centred. Tasks included anything from opening up, maintaining an immaculate, brand-sensitive look and feel to the store - to selling high value, premium products to demanding, selective and product-savvy customers; to training existing and potential customers in the use and effective operation of Leica equipment. Other responsibilities included; dealing with customer enquiries in the store, over the phone and email. Demonstrating models in the store to customers; stock management; training customers how to use their equipment to the best possible advantage to them personally, as well as to bring out the finer qualities offered by the product itself. Every training session was unique and bespoke to the customer, which required a good deal of patience, diplomacy at times, and importantly a customer-focused approach at every turn.
