As a first-year student pursuing a BSc in Geography at the University of Bristol, I am driven by a sincere commitment to understanding the intricate relationship between human behaviours and the environment. My academic journey is guided by a steadfast determination to explore the human role in environmental challenges facing our world and to contribute meaningfully to their resolution. My active engagement in the improvement of my spatial modelling ability will aid this as I improve on the quality of my data analysis skills.I am actively engaged in the improvement of my coding skills in the language R, recognising their pivotal role in enhancing the quality of data analysis. Strengthening these analytical capabilities is integral to not only my geographical beliefs but serves as a key tool for future employers in any analytical field.Outside of academia, I am actively engaged in initiatives that promote environmental awareness and action. In 2023 I co-founded LouiQ, where we aim to offer sustainable alternatives to single-use plastic items. Whether through solo ventures or as a team member, I am committed to translating the knowledge I gain from my degree into tangible solutions for a more sustainable future.As I embark on this academic journey, I am eager and open to connect and network with scholars and practitioners who share my passion for human geography and sustainability.
