As a Shareholder structuring, negotiating and documenting commercial real estate transactions and financings, I regularly advise institutional lenders, borrowers, commercial banks and investors in a variety of issues, including financings, restructurings and workouts. I also have significant prior experience litigating complex commercial and banking matters, which affords me practical insights into legal issues and concerns that can arise throughout the entire transactional lifecycle. I also have experience in business divorce, professional malpractice, enforcement of restrictive covenants, government relations and intellectual property issues, as well as facilitating resolutions of disputes involving closely held and multi-generation family businesses. I serve as Chairman of the Raritan Bay YMCA. I mentor students at my alma maters, St. Joseph's High School in Metuchen, N.J., St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA. and Rutgers Law School. I serve on a career services advisory panel of Rutgers Law School. I recently became a Fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, and have been named a Master in the John C. Lifland Inn of Court.I am a member of the Contemporary Credit Club, Middlesex County, Perth Amboy, Woodbridge and South Amboy Chambers of Commerce, and received the South Amboy Chamber of Commerce Business Leader of the Year award in 2014. I was previously Counsel at the Law Firm of Herrick Feinstein LLP, and Shareholder with the Law Firm of Giordano Halleran and Ciesla.I earned my J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where I served as Articles Editor of the Rutgers Law Journal. After law school, I served as law clerk for the Hon. Yolanda Ciccone, J.S.C., now Prosecutor for Middlesex County.
