Educated as both a structural engineer and architect, Principal and Founder Louis Shell has over twenty-eight years of practical experience in the fields of structural engineering and architecture. He is knowledgeable in the design and construction of a diverse range of building types and structural systems, ranging from small award-winning residential additions to multi-million dollar educational and research facilities.Mr. Shell has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology's College of Architecture as well as guest critic and facilitator at the University of Illinois at Chicago's School of Architecture and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.Mr. Shell is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois and is licensed as a Structural Engineer in Illinois as well as numerous other states.
