Lou has been a life long fine artist with a portfolio of four decades of work who is also beginning to explore product design and licensing. His work has been exhibited several times in New York City galleries, upstate New York, London, Los Angeles and San Diego. He has been written up in The LA Times, Art Business News, The LA Weekly, Total Licensing, Juxtapoz, Gallery & Studio, Gallery Guide and Chronogram. His images have been on the cover of Color Ink Book, featured in BG Magazine, INPRINT magazine, Catapult, The Artist Catalogue, a special artists collectible zine in Spain and was recently featured in a special edition 20th anniversary hard cover book for the Cartoon Network that was distributed at ComicCon. Lou was a US Navy filmmaker in the elite motion picture unit Combat Camera Group Atlantic Fleet. While in CCG Lou deployed on multiple destroyers, mine sweepers and aircraft carriers including the USS Nimitz, The USS Constitution, The USS Forestall and the USS Kennedy filming ship's readiness, target exercises, military news etc. Lou later deployed to the NATO base in Naples Italy where he covered US Naval News.He has since worked in advertising, still photography, movie set & prop design, lighting design and installation, entertainment & events production such as the MTV awards, the Academy awards and numerous film openings and galas. He worked with Nights Of Neon rental & events company and Concept Design events productions. He worked at several photo labs including Newell Color processing & printing. He has crewed with Hollywood film crews for TV, commercial and motion picture productions including IMAX productions and has a production profile on IMDB where he worked with Wes Craven, Little Richard, Dan Haggerty, Steve Allen and Chuck Connors to name a few.
