He started a new home building division for Horton and in six years grew it to a staff of 65 people, with annual revenues of over $100 million. He bought the land, entitled it, developed it into subdivsions, developed five housing product lines, sold the homes and built them. He also hired all personnel, trained them and built the organization from start up. He met or exceeded his goals annually and was recognized in national meetings with Horton for his efforts. He made a profit his first operating year with Horton as a start up division. He also served on the executive committee of the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association. VICE PRESIDENT- MOUNTAIN WEST PROPERTIESHe was a Vice-President of the company, overseeing leasing and property management of 250,000 sq. ft. of Class A office buildings. During the downturn of the economy in 2000 through 2005, the company achieved the highest rental rates and maintained high occupancy rates during his time there. REGIONAL MANAGER- HYDRIL CORPBased in Dallas, Texas, He was a regional manager over 15 states for this international manufacturer of oil field equipment. He had oversight of sales, warehouse and service operations in the region. He took the region from $15 million a year in revenues to over $120 million a year. He was recognized for his efforts and was offered the position in London, England over Europe, the Middle East and Africa operations. After leaving the Company he was retained as a consultant for one year.
