Hello, future friends and colleagues! I am a graduate of anthropology with a deep passion for human ecology and culture. Anthropology plays a role in my professional career such that I approach each professional challenge with an understanding of environment, human empathy, and social connection. Adaptability, willingness to overcome obstacles, and unwavering personal ethics frequently serve as driving forces in my approach to work. My home town of Oxnard, CA is a beautiful and diverse city to call home, a coastal melting pot in the heart of Ventura County. In my adult life here, I have obtained extensive experience in customer service and administration, management, and environmental fieldwork. Through my education at CSUCI, I was honored to participate in a number of anthropological and environmental studies, from Hawaii, the Channel Islands, down to the Louisiana bottomland hardwood forest. These experiences shaped my professional disposition, and indeed, my values. I am a detail-oriented, friendly, reliable, and adaptable leader in the workplace. Ventura county consistently spearheads some of the most important coastal resource management practices, from developing the blueprint for "managed retreat," to healthy and sustainable food sourcing standards in our oceans and surrounding islands. This dedication to our environment finds a marriage alongside rich local culture, and inspires me to seek meaningful work in my hometown. Simply put, I love to learn, and I'm here to help.
