The common thread that connects all my professional experiences is my passion for educating others—whether it be as a foreign language teacher for K-12 students, a team leader anddevelopment champion at Apple and the University of Georgia, or an instructor helping shape the nextgeneration of teachers at Miami University. I leverage my doctoral-level research background, 10+ yearsof experience as an educator, and commitment to optimizing professional environments to elucidatecultural competence in all instructors across the education field, corporate institutions, and mycommunity. In my current role at Athens Academy, I am committed to creating a sense of belonging anda sustainable culture within the school that promotes student learning and challenges teachers to betterthemselves every day.
