A minimum of 100 pre-billed accounts per business day is required.Work denials relating to patient demographics and insurance via Gateway and/or workflow filters.Work Second Notice phone calls prior to mailing to patients.Work assigned returned mail.Back up ICD-10 and HCPCS coding of accounts, when necessary.Verify and key patient insurance information prior to filing invoice.Follow up and locate documentation and charges not checked off as being completed for assigned Queues.Responsible for keeping current on Medicare, Medicaid, and other payor’s regulations and guidelines to assure correct insurance assignment of accounts.Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Patient Accounts Supervisor.Accurate coding of accounts as needed.
