I delivered the Phoenix Gazette & The Arizona Republic newspapers to paper routes in the Phoenix, AZ . I got to fuel all their trucks, check oil, colant level all safety lights on and round the trucks making sure no light bulbs where burned out or mechanical and electical problems with the trucks, checked tire preasure and wrote it up on the trip ticket in are files. I enjoyed the work it was part time, I liked all the co workers it was a very good job for me. It was theriputic for me when I came home from the Air Force very ill.I really enjoyed figuring out the scimpy address's from dispatched desk with no maps back then and all I had was a little yellow street finder bible book which was very usefull I bought them from Cicle K store.Saftey award for diving for 4 years with them and no accidents or yard accidents and it was a good thing while working and i got to go to Universal Technical Institute Auto/Diesel school from the VA vocational training I graduated. I turned around and put my self threw RSI air conditioning school It made me feel very good about my self to graduate and pay for the HVAC school with my own money. It was my favorite things like enginges brakes, working on cars, trucks, I wish I could have stayed longer in the Air Force and to even be a very good clutch doctor for trucks bus's you name it my theory was do the job right the first time so no B-BACKS in the shop for shooty repairs.
