The Endless Beauty Collective (EBC) is a strategy, a community of fierce women and pro age beauty brands, and a mission that is going to stop the beauty industry from ‘selling’ women on these harmful falsities:-- Our worth is inextricably linked to our outer beauty; -- Our beauty is reserved for the young and declines with age; -- Aging is something we should be ashamed of, hide and try to avoid; and -- If we buy their products, we will somehow achieve the entirely unattainable goal of staying young and, as their logic goes, beautiful and worthy.Forging this major paradigm shift is a bold undertaking, but if we all come together, we can and will make it happen. The EBC is designed to help lead the way and propel us forward by:1) Mobilizing a community of at least 30,000 women together who are so vocal and willing to stop buying from anti-aging and youth-promoting beauty brands that eventually these brands will be putting their reputation and their sales at risk if they don’t fundamentally change their marketing strategies, the language they use and their overall business culture and ethos.2. Shining the spotlight and drawing major media attention to the growing number of beauty brands that have adopted a pro age stance and said, ‘no’ to telling women that aging equates to a decline in our beauty and using fear-based tactics to sell their products. 3. Providing resources that make it easy for women to learn about and buy their beauty products only from EBC-approved beauty brands. 4. Getting brands that currently use some but very little anti-aging and/or youth-promoting strategies and language to see that the timing is right from a business perspective and make the shift to a pro age stance for their brand.Want to be part of the change? I devoted the first 16 years of my career as a Founding Partner/Vice President of a management consulting firm that worked with organizations of all different sizes, sectors and fields of focus (mainly nonprofits and philanthropies) to help them increase their funding base, develop strategic plans for their future, recover from major, often unanticipated changes and periods of turbulence, design new programmatic and organizational-change initiatives, among other services.
