One of by favorite things to so in all aspects of my life is problem solving. Usually I can see the "light at the end of the tunnel" and it helps keep me motivated and driven to my goals. Throughout my time as a cashier, I had to think and learn quickly to ever-changing environments, especially during the height of the pandemic. This included being shifted around to other positions in the store when needed. Any given day, I could talk to as many as 100 different people, each needed a different way of speaking and conversing, and having to adapt and have a wide range of communication skills was vital for success. Also, when new associates would join the company, I was usually trusted with training them, giving me some well-needed leadership skills and more communication skills.
