I was lead author on the proposal technical volume for Common Compute Environment and Availability criteria. The three year effort included engaging the customer to shape the acquisition, recommending integration points with the SOA contract, developing and submitting the proposal, and developing an early start on the solution.Prior to CANES, I was the infrastructure architect and engineering lead to design a 20PB (20,000TB) archive and dissemination system, migrating from tape archive to spinning disks. I was responsible for planning and managing the technical scope and budgets (labor and material) of projects. Other duties included subject matter expert on storage architectures, and expert review panel for all designs.Other activities at BAE Systems included developing an award winning Multi-Level Secure prototype that was evaluated to DCID PL/4 criteria and accredited to PL/3.

Successful projects I managed included updating Sendmail 8.9.x to support LDAP alias management, and Email and DNS sub-domain creation and management for delegated remote administration that helped reduce expenses associated with integrating acquired companies (3 companies acquired while I was employed).
