Pacific Northwest Climate Week is a community-powered event series uniting individuals and organizations in the fight against climate change. We are bringing together climate innovators, thought leaders, and enthusiasts from throughout Seattle, Vancouver, and Portland.

- Recruited 40+ volunteers and raised $50,000+ in grassroots donations- Created and grew a Facebook group of 2,100+ members with an average of 5 posts per day to facilitate aid.- Mentored & inspired 4+ early-stage groups doing similar work around the city.- Started a field team which delivers survival supplies to people living outside; started survival programs around learned needs such as ice packs, propane, and laundry

Solidarity organizing between Contingent Workers (CWs) and Full-time Employees (FTEs).- Raised $20k from FTEs so that CWs could take paid leave which the company had only granted to FTEs.- Steward of Workers@ ERG. Regularly posted grievances and demands on behalf of CWs to shield them from retaliation.- Organized multiple solidarity actions between FTEs and CWs at the Seattle office and globally.Full-stack development of power-user analytics tools using React, GraphQL, Hack, MySQL, & EntFramework (ORM). - Authored & profiled query backends in Hack & SQL to support new analysis tools for customer conversion. - Designed & implemented UI performance logger. Wrote strong documentation for project hand-off. - Ideated, designed, & implemented UI & backend for users to provide granular feedback on a new analytics tool. - Strong collaboration with Product Designer & Product Manager (PM). Stepped into the PM role when PM left the company; drove the project to completion.Backend development & infrastructure reliability work for internal tooling using Hack, EntFramework (ORM), & SQL. - Safely deleted >95% of unneeded data in multiple employee DBs, which prevented query OOMs for multiple dependent tools and decreased tool recovery time from days to hours. - Scoped, laid groundwork for, and guided junior engineer through migration of transaction approvals code to a framework which accelerated transaction speed by 45% and increased our team’s bandwidth. - Investigated, authored dashboarding for, & resolved sync failures with 3rd party system, improving data correctness from 98.3% to 99.87%. - Identified & encrypted multiple columns of sensitive employee data. - Drove burndown of team’s SLA oncall tasks.

Introducing 20 high school girls to the field of computer science by way of projects in Scratch, Python/Pygame, Arduino, & HTML/JS/CSS.

Teaching Python, HTML, & CSS to middle school students.

As a member of the Culture Infrastructure team, developed a tool which generates expressive query UI’s for structured data. Patent pending.

Gaining web development skills, assisting in web production, visualizing data.

Developing applications to better the educational environment of UCLA Students.

* By building an LDAP JSON API & collaborative task manager, I learned about API's, server stacks, Client-Side templating, Django/Tastypie, and AngularJS. Learned of client-side & server-side web design paradigms.* For Crewed Dragon control panel, developed microcontroller serial I/F to C++ flight sim, iterated on HW design in Visio, soldered prototypes, and did trade study against PCB version.

Coordinated sponsorship and operations for Engineering Welcome Day, Engineering Leadership Conference.

Ran cold flow & hot fire diagnostics to refurbish HyPE 1B2 (Hybrid Propulsion Experiment) Rocket. Authored diagnostic documentation regarding ball-valve failure and pressure transducer electromagnetic interference.

* Developed GUI to parse ASIC RTL sim data & generate test scenarios in an FPGA emulation environment.* Learned Verilog HDL and became familiar with the following tools: Questa/ModelSim, Xilinx ISE & ChipScope.

Aided in construction, calibration, & use of hardware, software for atomic force microscopy, optically detected magnetic resonance imaging of N2 vacancy diamonds with applications in quantum computing, IC imaging.

* Implemented communication protocol for interface between PICs and the avionics of the spacecraft.* Developed LINUX Ground Station Equipment software in C++, coded UART & I2C comm. protocol in C.

* Machined aluminum components and assembled electronics for Hockeybot. Competed in RoboGames.* Generated SolidWorks CADs and translated them into schematics for machining.

* Learned and implemented fundamentals of electronic design from lectures and hands-on projects.* Soldered, breadboarded, coded, and CAD-ed electronics components for multiple projects.

* Fast-paced team competition testing knowledge of Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry Biology, Mathematics, etc.* Practiced daily to cover significant amounts of material largely independent of teacher Instruction.

* Worked with a small group of peers to organize and fundraise for biannual retreat for 150 students to build community and discuss personal issues, e.g. Sexuality & Gender Identity, Suicide & Depression, Family.

Awarded the 2012 Gordon Research Center Leadership Award for best team research project: Determining the Electrical Output Characteristics of Organic Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells Under Varying Load Resistance
