- Deputy Director for Naval Construction, Expeditionary Logistics, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Coastal Riverine, Maritime Civil Affairs, and Mobile Diving and Salvage Forces regarding equipment management. Provided the oversight required to equip and maintain $4 billion in equipment required to support over 21,000 Navy Expeditionary Sailors. Spearheaded the establishment of a Type Desk Department responsible for material readiness of 325 boats and served as a key member of numerous Senior Working Groups that resulted in marked increases in fighting power. Ensured uninterrupted combat readiness of equipment for all forces providing support to every Combatant Commander around the globe for three years while under intense budgetary reductions.

Operations management for international waterfront and underwater construction projects.In the Navy, Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) Chief Warrant Officers (CWO's) are technical experts whose skills and knowledge are an essential part of the proper operation of a Naval Construction Force command. CEC CWO's are technical officer specialists who perform duties that require expertise and commissioned officer authority to direct highly technical operations. CEC CWO's should not be confused with CEC Limited Duty Officers or O1 and above Civil Engineer Corps officers. They perform duties that are technically oriented, that is, requiring skills that are directly related to previous enlisted service and specialized training; thus allowing the Navy to capitalize on their specific experiences. A CWO must have been a senior non-commissioned officer (E-7 through E-9) to gain the commission.

- Led program management for construction and facilities projects. Managed 180,000 square feet of facilities spread over ten acres and three different bases. Organized contracts for 21 construction projects valued at approximately $125 million. Planned, programmed, and executed new construction, maintenance, and renovation projects for all associated facilities ensuring that the military’s preeminent ordnance disposal personnel could train, reconstitute, and prepare for future operations. Efforts in revalidating facilities requirements documents resulted in approval of a $42 million Chief of Naval Operations approved contract to modernize the entirety of the EOD compound at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek.

- Ensured the operational readiness and employment of three worldwide deployable detachments of 16 personnel. Responsible for enabling underwater and waterfront inspection, construction, and repair capabilities in support of expeditionary naval operations. Hard work resulted in an unprecedented level of support to four major combatant commands and he deployed personal to more than ten countries in three years. Also, established the first ever permanently forward deployed UCT Detachment at Rota, Spain, greatly increasing response time of low-density, high demand personnel. Served as the Joint Task Force, Haiti, Port Opening Task Unit Commander for pier repairs at Port-au-Prince in response to a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake in 2010, one of the most high profile and monumental evolutions of the humanitarian efforts conducted there.

- Responsible for a ten person cadre of high risk training instructors and four courses of instruction teaching basic through advanced underwater construction diving curriculums. Delivered more than 3,000 hours of flawless instruction to qualify 150 officer and enlisted personnel as Navy and Army Engineer Divers while simultaneously leading the coordination and management of a $15 million dollar project to construct a Joint Aquatic Combat Diver Training Facility.

- Enlisted in the Navy in 1989 as a Builder. His first duty station was aboard Naval Mobile Construction Battalion SEVEN (90-93). He then attended Second Class Dive School and Basic Underwater Construction Technician training. 1993-1998, he served aboard Underwater Construction Team (UCT) ONE. In 1998, he attended First Class Dive School and Advanced UCT training. From 1998-2001 he served at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center and then completed Advanced Builder school and Salvage Construction Demolition Diver training. In 2001, he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer and served as the UCT-1 Air Detachment Bravo Officer in Charge. From 2004-2006 he was assigned to the UCT-1 Operations Department as the Contingency and Exercises Officer. He was commissioned to Chief Warrant Officer in June 2006.
