The Placement Counselor is responsible for facilitating the customer's temporary housing process. The position conducts the research necessary to find suitable temporary housing accommodations that will meet the particular customer's needs, as well as effectively guides the customer from apartment selection through lease signing, customer service issues, and vacate procedures.

A subsidiary of Atlas World Group, privately held company with $950 million in revenue, a global relocation management company providing high touch services to corporate clients and their employees.• Managing a full caseload of domestic relocation home sale files.• Counseling transferring employees on their relocation benefits, per client policy, and on-going support to transferring employees regarding various relocation-related issues.• Inputting critical data and documents to Equus software for file management and tracking.• Coordinating service orders with third-party vendors to schedule travel services, household goods move, temporary/corporate housing, home sale assistance, home purchase assistance, rental assistance, etc.• Create real estate marketing plans and updates to generate timely offers on transferring employees properties.• Negotiate & execute real estate sales contracts on behalf of the Transfering employees, manage inspections, troubleshoot and monitor mortgage commitment to successful closings.• Coordinate and deliver company Guaranteed Buyout Offers through appraisals & inspections.• Collaborating with Corporate Finance to identify and resolve expense issues as they pertained to specific transferring employees as well as maintained the established relocation budget per policy and per client.• Auditing relocation files frequently to ensure data integrity.• Participate as a leader in our mentoring program for internal growth.
