My consulting practice is based on establishing myself as a CFO for multiple clients at a time. Every client is not only in a different industry but is also in a different growth situation. Some customers may be starting up and some customers may be in a restructuring situation. The typical areas of emphasis include: Strategy development and implementation, FP&A, Financial Reporting, KPI Management, Working Capital Management, Due Diligence and Capital Raising. In some situations, I manage the client’s accounting department and in other cases I represent the company as their only finance expert. Due to the nature of the engagements I also typically get involved with HR, IT and many other operational areas of the business, including Sales and Marketing. Selected Results:> Financial Planning and Analysis: Established the FP&A function and processes. Implemented budgets, KPI’s and forecasts, to help steer the Company toward its financial objectives.> Financial Discipline: Drive the need and understanding for managing the business based on ROI priorities, while maintaining accountability and timeliness of performance goals.>Financial Reporting: Establish processes and technology to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Hired and trained numerous controllers and accountants on their roles and responsibilities. > M&A: Manage financial due diligence efforts to acquire other companies.> Expertise in several industries such as: Retail/Wholesale, Medical Services, Cyber Security, E-Commerce, Digital Advertising, Printing, Fuel Management and Delivery.>Co-founded a design studio that creates one-of-a-kind paper creations and marketing materials.
