I have 25-years experience assisting foreign investment in France and can bridge the cultural and legal differences when negotiating cross-border transactions. Doing a deal in France can be challenging due to language, cultural and legal differences and I help clients identify the most important issues in a deal and work through them in a pragmatic, comprehensible manner. I originally practised as a UK barrister and can assist clients in identifying and understanding the differences that arise in contracts governed by the French legal codes compared to the approaches adopted in Common Law jurisdictions.I guide clients through the pitfalls of doing business in a foreign jurisdiction where legal practice, culture and language may be different.
