Profile bio

About Taylor Lowe

I am a leader who first and foremost supports and fosters employee growth wherever I can. In 2019 I graduated from the Richard Ivey Business School HBA program, and have continued to grow my passion for Human Resources, Workplace Culture, Employee Satisfaction, and Change Management since then. My passion first developed in High School when I volunteered as the Stage Manager and Producer for several of my high school's drama club productions. This role gave me countless opportunities to help and support the work of others while working to build a cohesive work team environment. My experience as both a People & Culture team member at Influitive, and as a Senior Head Don at Huron University College have allowed me to turn my passion for helping and supporting people into a career. At Influitive, I’ve had opportunities to work on a variety of programs and initiatives that have allowed me to explore and strengthen this passion for people development and grow my career over the three years I’ve been with the company. In particular, one of my projects involved the initial development and continued maintenance of the company’s role matrix, which has increased clarity and transparency of role responsibilities across the organization. This project has supported employee development efforts and promotion planning for all departments and levels of the company; and impacts a variety of other talent programs and initiatives such as employee onboarding and performance management.Continuing with the theme of support, my role as a Senior Head Don allowed me to grow my passion for helping others, by continuously providing support and guidance to my staff, ensuring they have the tools necessary to succeed throughout the year. This role also allowed me to develop my skills for change management, during a year of corporate restructuring, and the implementation of a new residence life program. Throughout the summer, one of my projects involved a complete transformation of the staff training manual and program to ensure new staff received adequate training, ultimately leading to a successful year in the residence community.Skills: human resources, company culture, policy development, change management, effective communication through virtual and physical mediums, team building, team managementPersonal interests: live theatre, cooking, travelling
