In 2006 William assumed responsibility for building a US business. In 2009 William was asked to also assume responsibility for Asia and for a SICAV business newly acquired from Standard Chartered Bank. In these roles William serves on the boards of several companies and on the SICAV Board. In 2010 William transferred to Hong Kong to focus full-time on its Asia distribution business

After joining Scudder Threadneedle as head of European Compliance, William assumed responsibility for all controls functions for Threadneedle following its de-merger from Scudder Investments. In this role he served as a member of the leadership team
