Formed a sole-proprietorship as an arborist and landscaper, primarily performing subcontract work in the SLO County area. Services included tree pruning (climber and groundman), fire clearance, landscape maintenance, and emergency services.

I co-led teams of student mentors teaching online and in-person entrepreneurship intensives in Brazil and Tanzania. My primary roles were overseeing curriculum development and equipping 20+ student mentors with lesson planning, presentation, and classroom management skills. By building the online program and leading the re-introduction of the in-person trips post-pandemic, we were able to grow the program approximately 4x in 3 years, during and after COVID-19. We served over 400 students from 4 countries on 3 continents and in 3 languages at the primary, secondary, and tertiary education levels. I also engaged with stakeholders and donors to continue driving growth. A key element of our success was learning to communicate core entrepreneurship concepts to different cultural and age-group contexts, ensuring that our lessons were relevant, useful, and addressed the felt-needs in each community.

I developed curriculum and taught entrepreneurship intensives at primary and secondary schools in the Arusha region of Tanzania. The Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) through Babson's Lewis Institute for Social Innovation uses entrepreneurship education as a catalyst to uplift and empower communities around the world. Consulted for an entrepreneurship education program at the SEGA Girls Secondary School. Our goal was to evaluate the program's effectiveness at equipping Tanzanian girls with practical skills for financial sustainability, disruptive innovation, and impact-oriented leadership. During the one-month assignment I documented existing programs, performed a literature review of entrepreneurship education research, and presented recommendations to faculty and management.
