Lowri is a sports consultant specialising in women’s football with over 15 years experience working across all areas of the game, from marketing and communications to league and club development.Her newly launched company Play With Purpose focuses on elevating and empowering women and girls to thrive in sport. Services include strategy development and event and campaign management, as well as a variety of workshops and guest talks on topics including ‘Change management and making people care’ and ‘Creating environments which enable women and girls to kick ass’. Previously Lowri was Head of Women’s football at The Football Association of Wales, where she served as a core member of their senior management team for 5 years. Here, Lowri developed and led their first women’s football strategy; Our Wales – For HER. During this period, the FAW saw an 89% increase in girls’ participation, making it the number one team sport for girls in Wales. Further, the average attendance at Wales women’s national team matches grew from 1,500 to 7,000.Prior to the FAW, Lowri spent five years at the English FA in marketing and commercial roles, working across the FA Women’s Super League, Women’s FA Cup and The Lionesses.Lowri is passionate about shifting attitudes and empowering women and girls to have a voice in decision making at all levels of the game.
