Profile bio

About Loyd Auerbach

I love having different professional roles that reflect my interests and experience, even as I focus on what is my main position: My "day job" is as a Knowledge & Research Consultant (formerly called Librarian Relations Consultant) for LexisNexis, rejoining in 2017, having worked previously for the company through 2006 -- I'm very excited to be back with the company, and working with a community I know well: law firm information professionals/librarians.Additionally, I am an adult educator for both live and online audiences, and a published author & professional speaker, mainly on the topic of Parapsychology/psychic phenomena & experiences (whatis often called "paranormal"). If you ask any of my employers or clients (or students), you’ll learn that I have amazing people skills and customer relations abilities and gained a reputation for creative thinking and problem-solving. Offline or online, I've made my employers’ and clients' material shine, finding the hook to make the information/products/services interesting to the target consumers and clients. It is precisely because of the diversity of my background and interests, which include performing as a magician and mentalist, that customers of past employers found me easy to connect with, easy to work with, and extremely effective in achieving their goals. My portfolio career has a parallel track in parapsychology. Consequently, this is mostly what I'm known for outside the legal arena, what most of my published works deal with, how I've appeared in the media (TV, radio, podcasts, news articles), and many of my speaking engagements. A quick search on Google of my name yields quite a lot.Send an Invitation to Connect, or email me at loydauerbach@gmail.com or, for LexisNexis contact, at loyd.auerbach@lexisnexis.comAdditional Specialties: I am a professional psychic entertainer/mentalist performing as "Professor Paranormal" for events, including private parties. I also hold a certificate as a professional chocolatier, calling myself a "chocolate maven" when conducting guided chocolate tasting sessions for events (and yes, I occasionally make chocolate).

Listed skills include Public Speaking, Public Relations, Newsletters, Event Planning, and 46 others.
