I bring over 17 years of experience in legal services specialising in legal operations, expansion initiatives, process improvement, and team leadership. I’m currently consulting for a number of high growth companies on projects including go-to-market strategies, navigating regulation and scaling legal operations.As Head of Legal at Farewill I established the legal team, supporting its growth from seed-stage to a VC-backed scale-up with over £30M in investment. I've led expansion into new legal jurisdictions and built the legal team from scratch. Previously, I've held head of department positions and spent over 10 years at Top 100 law firm Hugh James. My experience across a range of different legal business models gives me a depth of understanding of both regulatory issues, and the opportunities for innovation in alternative models. I'm also passionate about customer centricity and how how the intersection of legal tech and legal design can deliver better customer outcomes.My main practice area has been private client, and I maintain an up to date knowledge of practice and my TEP status.
