A creative agency mixing design and event management. The goal of this brand is to promote culture in wide and unexpected ways by offering unique and customisable experiences. One of the projects launched was 'Blank Kanvas', an event based on the concept of co-creation and social interaction (Vilnius, 2017) (see event concept brief below). GiroMela is an event agency specialising in street-food and event creation for B2B clients. As an events manager, I am responsible for handling projects as soon as the brief is sold by the sales team. This involves liaising with suppliers, staff management, logistics management (transportation, inventory management), staging, on-site event production and post-production. In this role, I improved the brand materials for the agency (business cards, menus, photography), offered solutions for an improved digital communication strategy (social media toolkit), new back-office management tools, and new ways of managing inventory. In addition, using my previous bar experience, I opened opportunities to sell premium cocktails as part of the agency services offer.

About the Venue:Paradise Palms is a vegetarian restaurant, cocktail bar, record label and art-venue in Edinburgh. As a head waiter I managed the floor in a busy environment due to the hype surrounding the venue. In fact, even if Paradise Palms is busy all year long, it becomes the place to be during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the volume of customer hosted doubling during this period. The waitering team is composed of 4 employees per shift, including the head waiter. The head waiter is the one staff here to make sure that every clients have a great experience while undertaking the normal waitering tasks. In short, my tasks as a head waiter included:- Floor Management- Waitering / Bartending- Customer Service- Team LeadershipTeam Achievement:The barstaff broke the daytime sales record of the venue by more than 33% during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016.

Les Festivals d'été du Havre offers to the city's inhabitants free shows all weekend every weekends of July and August. The organizers strongly focus the line up of the events on Circus and modern street performances. As a production assistant, I was involved in every step of the show's staging process, from the Artists reception untill the public safety management during the performance. In fact after taking care of the artist, the production team was building its stage, promoting the festival in the city to ensure acceptable volumes of public and the management of it during the show.In short, my responsibilities during the festival included:- Stage Building- PR- Artist Hosting- Public Management

I undertook an internship with the team and I mostly acted as an artistic direction assistant, answering briefs with creative event concepts. Achievements:- Line-up creation for an event bought for a six figure budget. - Managing creative briefs and developing/presenting event concepts for corporate companies like Swedbank, Svyturys. - Built a portfolio of international artists (musicians, dancers, circus artists, etc) for the agency's future events.

African Spirit is a student charity aiming at building a health or education facility per year in the African continent. Because I joined the association during its very first year, corporate partnership were non-existent and creating events ended up being the most reliable option in order to raise enough funds before the deadline. I was the team leader of the 4 people event team, delegating tasks and gaining experience in all the aspects of event management. After two years, the whole team and myself had consistent knowledge in:- Marketing Research- Budgeting - Fundraising and sponsorship- Artistic Direction- Production Management- Communication Management - Team Leadership- Portfolio Building (performers and event suppliers)All the events created a minimum of 200% profits, reaching full capacities in every venue the Event Team worked with (min 300ppl). We successfully raised enough money for building a school and a health center in rural Madagascar.
