Responsible for working on Southwest Tour development and improvement of Itineraries that our tour directors use daily. Collaborate with office to improve and expand tour selections that are offered. Also responsible for training new tour directors and supporting current ones while on the road. Lead 7 -17 day Globus and Cosmos tours throughout the US.

Scheduled tours include Spring & Summer adult tours offered by Globus and Cosmos touring Memphis & Nashville; The fabulous Western Parks to include all of Utah; Arizona; Wyoming; South Dakota & beyond. In the fall I run New England Fall Foliage Tours. The past five years have been spent leading tours for students & adults in Washington DC, Gettysburg, PA, New York City, NY; Boston Ma, Yellowstone, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Grand Tetons and other significant historical locations throughout the east coast & western heartland. Tour companies extremely satisfied with my work include Globus & Cosmos, Worldstrides, USA Student Travel and more. I deliver factual & interesting commentary and use a style of leading that allows me to be both intellectually engaging and fun with both children and adults. This work requires exceptional leadership, influencing, communication and organizational skills. Independent Travel Consultant booking all aspects of Travel including Air, Car, Hotel. Packages and FIT’s. My main concentration is on Active and Adventure Travel and high-end leisure. In this role, I have coordinated many group tours/travels such as weddings, family reunions and corporate groups that I have been continually successful in. My success comes from my ability to multi-task. Managed student group tours in Washington DC, New York & Boston. Responsibilities include overall Tour Directing as well as using my DC License to guide groups through the historic sites of Washington DC. My tour leading style enables me to be both engaging with children and intellectual with adults. Currently manage many combination groups where there are two or more different school groups on one tour. This work has required exceptional leadership, influencing, communication and organizational skills. I created the concept and implemented a successful opening of Java Divine Coffee Bar along with a partner back in Aug 2003. Since June 2007, I have been sole operating/managing partner. I have worked hard to create an environment which lends itself to being the community place people come to gather for social events, live music, family events and more. Java Divine has been recognized as a bedrock business in the community. Running this business requires specific skills such as, high level of customer service, managing and motivating employees, entrepreneurial/innovative thinking and a high level of communication skills. Building this business required listening to the community needs and utilizing solid business management and marketing skills to implement new ideas continually. Marketing materials generated includes monthly newsletter, coupon distributions, club cards, brochures and more.
