Design and implementation of Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. Due to real-time data acquisition and processing, core functionalities has been implemented in ANSI C. Communication with programmable controllers (PLC) is obtained utilizing industry well-known protocols like ModBus RTU/TCP or MBus. Measurements and statistics are stored in PostgreSQL database.Measurement and statistical data are accessed from middle-ware (service layer) application implemented in Java Spring framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security and Hibernate) with northbound interface utilizing RESTful paradigm. Moreover service layer is responsible for a asynchronous measurement notification using ActiveMQ message bus.Visualization of industrial sites is available via web portal - implemented using HTML5/CSS/SVG (Bootstrap and D3.js), JavaScript (Backbone.js / Marionette.js, Underscore.js) and STOMP (for asynchronous communication).
