Director Of Health And Wellness
CurrentDevelop and maintain an environment focused on the health and wellness of GCM employees, with a particular focus on fitness, nutrition, as well as physical and mental wellness.Key Responsibilities:·Management of the fitness facility including but not limited to instruction on proper use of equipment and technique, equipment maintenance, cleanliness, supply management, etc.·Coordination with dining services on nutritional initiatives and menu offerings with a particular focus on healthy offerings.·Create and coordinate innovative, people forward employee engagement initiatives with the Head of Human Resources, to include wellness education (i.e., lunch and learns, mindfulness / meditation sessions, nutrition and fitness events, stress management seminars, etc.) and health-focused activities (i.e., inter-company tournaments, mini bootcamp sessions, etc.) ·Production of a monthly wellness newsletter focusing on wellness and nutrition tips and techniques.·Maintaining a presence throughout the facility, interacting with employees, and establishing a dialogue around health, fitness, ergonomics, and healthy habits.·Developing and implementing a calendar of events including fitness classes, yoga and meditation offerings, and other employee engagement activities.·Develop annual budget, track expenses and produce quarterly budget-to-actual statements for management review.·Conduct a minimum of one CPR training class annually for GCM employees and families.·Provide complimentary personal training to GCM employees.·Oversight of and coordination of services from external vendors related to fitness center and wellness services.·Ad hoc consultation on in-home gym set-up and equipment purchases for GCM employees.
