Recruited into a hybrid role that combines academic advising with managing the admission process for 3 nursing programs. Determined if students met admission requirements by reviewing 1,000+ official transcripts and applicants annually. Delivered a diverse range of administrative, marketing, and customer service support for all pre-licensure and post-licensure programs. Performed as the key recruiter and public speaker for 60+ nursing events annually. Directly supervised the main nursing email account by responding to 200+ emails a week. - Contributed to the increase in applications to the summer Jump Start program by expanding the community college partners from 11 to 25. Gained 200+ applicants while marketing the program to Nursing Directors at local community colleges with videos, marketing flyers, and presentations that outline benefits of the program. - Developed an online student portal for prospective undergraduate and graduate students to learn about our nursing programs. This included videos, resource documents students can download to help guide them toward application, and assessments on how students are grasping the material. Monthly presentations were hosted to answer questions. - Directly assisted with the official transcript collection and review for newly admitted students. Recorded data on excel files for each application cycle and sent acceptance/denial emails. Statistical data collected and presented to the Nursing Director. - Managed and help grow a social media presence that targets prospective students but also builds a relationship with current students by highlighting faculty, staff, and alumni.

Recruited into a part-time Student Academic Advisor role in the Academic Advisement Center then quickly promoted to a full-time Student Services Professional I (2014). Consistently advised 60+ students individually and in groups daily on general education, graduation requirements, and the University’s policies and procedures. - Presented to first-time freshmen and transfer students on how to register for their first semester and provided guidance on how to read their Titan Degree Audit (TDA) to ensure a successful graduation timeline. - Collected and analyzed retention data on our Academic Probation and Academically Disqualified population. This included presentations that outlined measures a student could utilize to help raise their grade point average.
