Ensured student progress toward Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals through collaborative instruction with general education teachers, small group instruction, and pull-out instruction.

Effectively managed the curricular implementation of an entrepreneurial education program for inner-city high school students at three partner high schools in Washington, D.C., with a fiscal budget of over $55,000. Supervised a total of 6 classroom teachers in implementing the BUILD curriculum in their classes with fidelity and rigor to ensure students were held accountable for deadlines and deliverables in completing real business plans. Responsible for monitoring and improving student engagement, monitoring and improving performance of all BUILD DC teachers, and tracking student academic progress. Implemented an engaging mentorship program for students, recruited mentors and volunteers, and developed and maintained relationships with mentors and volunteers from the DC community. Efficiently planned, managed, and executed all logistical elements of a student business plan competition, business plan showcases, fall and spring college tours, and mentor/student relationship-building activities.BUILD is a non-profit organization whose mission is to use enterpreneurship to excite and propel disengaged, low-income students through high school to college success. Our four-year high school program has successfully graduated 100% of its seniors--and all have been accepted to college.
