As a professional "Swiss Army Knife" I have many roles in the office: special projects manager, procurement manager, process improvement lead, marketing designer, website developer, social media content creator, office manager and event planner. I take pride in my work and credit my ability to juggle so many roles to my drive for efficiency and attention to detail.It is never fun to have a problem, but I thoroughly enjoy solving them. Whether it is finding ways to make a 90K design fit into a 50K budget, or redeveloping best practices to reduce inefficiency amongst my team; I love making people's lives easier. When I am not at work, I am either playing with my Tasmanian Devil (aka my 3-year-old Spaniel-Coonhound mix), reading, watching videos on gardening or trying new recipes I found on Instagram. I am a global traveler, UMD alumni, former door-to-door salesmen, environmental enthusiast and VJ assistant. In this ever-changing word, I always try to remember the great words of Albert Einstein, "Our task must be to free ourselves […] by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty”.
