I provide guidance and operational support to the Career Coaches as they carry out their work, make decisions about what types of student-facing resources we need, and serve as a critical member of the center’s executive leadership team.

• Serve as part of the Career Advising, Counseling, and Education (CACE) management team that oversees the operation and implementation of all student-centered career development activities• Manage all operations of the Same-day Career Advising program across various locations on campus• Hire, train, and supervise up to 12 graduate student workers, known as Career Consultants• Develop and update various training resources used to on-board new Career Center staff; also, in charge of providing Career Center resource training to university faculty and staff• Supervise up to two professional Career Counselors, providing leadership and guidance in their professional development• Collect and interpret all student engagement data with the use of our career management system, Handshake; serve as Handshake expert for the Career Center• Develop the curriculum and update all course materials for the SLS1301 Career and Life Planning course, includes working to ensure the learning management system is being used efficiently (Canvas)• Counsel students and community members on an individual, weekly basis with their career decisions within a Cognitive Information Processing career theory framework• Provided leadership for the Davie Campus satellite career center for a seven-month period; campus serves up to 5,000 upper-classman with two full-time career counselors

• Served as the Career Center Counselor for the Jupiter Campus, ensuring that all career development activities and programs were provided to the unique student population• Lead all Career Center programs and activities for undecided students, collaborating with other university departments as needed• Supervised two professional Career Counselors for Undecided students, providing leadership and guidance in their professional development• Coordinated the Carnival of Majors fair with colleges and their academic support offices.• Managed the planning as well as all operational functions of the Graduate/Professional School Fair• Counseled students and community members on an individual, weekly basis with their career decisions within a Cognitive Information Processing career theory framework

• Served as the Career Counselor for the ACCESS Program, which provided academic and career planning support to at-risk students• Taught up to four sections a semester of the SLS1301 Career and Life Planning course for ACCESS students• Coordinated large career outreach programs and presented career related workshops and presentations at university orientations, open houses, and first year experience courses • Maintained current knowledge of the job market, trends, supply and demand, salary ranges and provides this data to students, colleges and support offices. • Collaborated with key campus partners in developing and promoting university-wide services to enhance the engagement of retention of second-year students• Marketed career events that support retention efforts• Counseled students and community members on an individual, weekly basis with their career decisions within a Cognitive Information Processing career theory framework• Provided appropriate referrals to specific community services for those who are dealing with other non-career related issues, such as anxiety, grief, or depression
