For two decades he has been inspiring and building rich communities through the design of strategic breakthrough experiences for interactive and online media, themed environments and award winning international live events. Laurie-Shawn has provided strategic and creative direction to some of the most well known brands including RBC, IBM, Hydro One, Microsoft, Ford, Nortel, Allstream, Honda/Acura, and Allergan. In March of 2011, Laurie-Shawn became an honoured recipient of the Cultural Champion designation by the Mayor of Toronto, in part for his volunteer work as Chair of UrbanArts Toronto. UrbanArts Toronto engages youth-at-risk in arts programs and leadership skills development.
