I am a registered nurse with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Aklan State University. I currently work as a staff nurse at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, providing nursing care for patients with complex respiratory disorders. I have core competencies in COVID-19, public health education, and infection control nursing.In my current role, I am responsible for the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of plans of care, ensuring high standards of evidence-based care using a defined model of care in conjunction with senior staff. I also contribute to the prevention and control of infection, the promotion of health and wellbeing, and the education and support of patients and their families. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of people who need care and compassion. I value teamwork, learning, and diversity, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences from my previous work as a nurse in the Philippines, where I cared for COVID-19 positive patients at various temporary facilities.
