As a member of the team responsible for the development of a large-scale customer integration system for a leading manufacturer and marketer of skincare products in the USA, my responsibilities included building the entire backend application from scratch. This involved setting up data ingestion mechanisms through Kafka, SFTP, and APIs for over a dozen external feeds, encompassing data points such as customer information, transactions, events, and products.I also automated the generation of business reports by extracting data from Azure Data Warehouse and presenting it in Excel and Tableau formats. In addition, I oversaw third-party integrations for customer record matching and data cleansing, ensuring that all data was accurate and up-to-date.Thanks to our efforts, the application is currently live and supports hundreds of business users, empowering them to make informed decisions and better understand their market.
