Larry is the chair of the Wolfpack Climate Action team.The Wolfpack was formed in Ann Arbor in the early 1980s by a group of Ann Arbor business and community leaders who wanted to use their influence, resources, and deep passion for the environment to address issues that threaten public health and the natural world.Now a network of over 150 members, the Wolfpack brings together community leaders and change makers to take collective environmental action to make a big impact in Washtenaw County in Southeastern Michigan, in the State of Michigan and in the Great Lakes Region.The Wolfpack Climate Action Team (WCAT) is one of five hunt teams that comprise the Wolfpack. The team exists to respond to the climate crisis with the urgency that the issue and science require. The WCAT works to achieve both mitigation of, and resilience to, climate change in the community to meet or exceed the goals set by the State of Michigan.We are working towards a future in which ● All energy created, stored, transmitted and used is emissions free – there is a totally clean, emission-free, overwhelmingly electric, end-to-end, energy supply chain ● All energy is conserved and efficient – we use the minimum amount necessary to achieve the outcomes we need and desire and what we use isn’t wasted ● All energy is accessible and equitable – no matter your circumstance, energy is available, affordable and no one is disadvantaged by energy’s economic or health impacts.We are a team of motivated individuals who want to make a difference and are willing to dedicate time and effort to making sure the future is one we, and our descendants, can live in. Our impact relies on the work of our members, and we encourage those who wish to make a real climate difference in our community to be active and engaged in the work of the Wolfpack Climate Action Team.
