As an Event Manager at Raccoon Serious Games, I am responsible for all online and offline events. Every day I am in contact with the customers to look at the possibilities for their event at Raccoon. I am the point of contact for our clients during the whole process, from the start when the application comes in until the final meeting. Some of my daily tasks are; making quotations and invoices, managing the hosts, making the event scripts and schedules and of course managing the event on the day itself. During this period at Raccoon, I have learned a lot and developed new competencies (especially) in sales.Raccoon designs communication with impact, we build serious escape rooms and games. All these events and games have a serious theme like sustainability or functional illiteracy. With our games we make people think in a playful way.

My role at Nocto is to create intriguing and engaging content for the different social media platforms. This means I am part of the marketing team as a social media manager & PR. The main focus lays on Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn. On these social media platforms, we try to stimulate users & potential clients to become part of the Nocto community. Nocto is a data-driven social media platform that creates a community of hospitality, their consumers and experiences. This is done through real-time content and creating a corona-proof solution for both the hospitality and the visitors.

As a project assistant at MCI Sydney I was part of the project delivery team. My role was to come up with innovative ideas and new concepts for events in Australia, but also within Europe. Within the Sydney team, we worked a lot together with the Melbourne & Brisbane team to prepare multiple bigger events. I have expanded my knowledge on event management, especially in corporate events and incentives. MCI is an events and marketing company, that operates globally with over 60 offices around the world. They help brands, associations, and not-for-profit organisations solve their key challenges through their core expertise; virtual & live events, strategic & digital communication, consulting & community solutions.

The jobs I worked on were all in hospitality or as an events employee. Some examples of where I worked where for instance at WooHah Festival at Tilburg and during soccer games in Breda.Randstad and especially Randstad Go, helps to recruit employees on a short-term basis. These employees are enrolled for events, logistics, hospitality, promotional activities and administration. 80% of the Randstad Go employees are flexible and immediately deployable.

As the head bartender of Palm Parkies 2019, I was responsible for the whole procedure from the beginning till the end of the festival. I managed all bar staff and made sure every bar had enough supplies.Palm Parkies is an initiative created by Stichting Mikser. They work together with different governments, brands, artists, and the media world to set up a free festival every summer in Roosendaal, Dordrecht, Breda, and Bergen op Zoom. With 115.000 visitors every year, this is has been a great enterprise since 2009.

For the The Hague Film Awards 2019 I was the project manager. My responsibilities during the preparations included creating the project plan, timesheets and a marketing plan. Next to this, during the event itself, I was the stage and staff manager. THFA started as an event brought together by local film makers in The Hague, but has now became a yearly festival to celebrate and award creators. Whether they make documentaries, short, music videos, vlogs or animations, they are all welcome and deserve to be acknowledged.
